Het leven zelf is mijn grootste de fascinatie. Daarbij vooral de emoties en de kwetsbaarheid van mensen, de omgeving en mijn eigen leven. In mij werk probeer ik me op een zo direct en eerlijk mogelijke manier uit te drukken.
Met de mode collectie ‘There used to be a country…’ben ik afgestudeerd aan de modevormgeving op de ABKMaastricht. Ik kom uit ex-Joegoslavië die uit elkaar is gevallen. Dat nam ik als uitgangspunt voor mijn afstudeer collectie. Ik heb een naive droom uitgewerkt waarbij ik mijn geboorteland wilde genezen zodat het weer bestaat,maar waarbij de littekens zichtbaar zijn.
Naast mode hou ik me ook bezig met andere disciplines : o.a. heb ik enige ervaring als kostuum ontwerper.
