the 'salt & pepper tree' was designed for a iittala design competition. it is inspired from the nature. like new branches grow out of an older branch, the porcelain shakers grow out of the wooden holder. 'salt & pepper tree' has won the 3rd prize in the competition and was exhibited in the iittala store utrecht in december 2006.
