The question WHY is formulated by scrable letters as coincidentally they all 3 have the value 4.This is repeated in another part of the work with the repetition of 4 in dominoe,dice and card symbols,a futile effort to re phrase the question WHY.The reference to scrable and jigsaw is a childhood memory and ties in with the tiger and bird puzzle image which is based on a childrens poem concerning the language of illusion and the irony of deterministic language.
